Cafeteria La Poesía returns with a special edition of La Poesía: San Juan Poético. In celebration of la Noche de San Juan, the holiday in honor of Saint John the Baptist celebrated throughout Spain and Latin America, Cafeteria La Poesía is hosting a special dinner party at Bon Studio inspired by the San Juan traditions of Spain and Venezuela. A seat at the table includes a 6-course dinner prepared by La Poesía's founders Elena, Ari, and María, a welcome cocktail to toast to the evening, wine pairings, and a flower bundle and special gift in the spirit of San Juan to take home.
If Volume 4 of La Poesía is anything like Volume 3, we can guarantee the evening will be a lovely experience with the warmest hospitality. When we joined La Poesía for brunch at María's home on a rainy day in April, we were treated to the magic of a tranquil residence transformed into an intimate dining room, gathered over a delicious 4-course brunch with Spanish and Venezuelan influences prepared by Elena, with freshly squeezed juice, coffee, tea, and Cava. The shrimp cocktail in an aji amarillo and mango sauce was incredible. (We would have licked the sauce out of the coupe if we were in our own homes.) Seating is limited at San Juan Poético. DM @cafeterialapoesia or email hola@lapoesiacafeteria.com to reserve your spot.
